Apple Nut Cheese Bread

For a great combination of baking apple; use Granny Smith, Braeburn, Jonagold, Empire, Regent, Spartan, Newtown apples or a mixture of your favorite apples together.

Bread pan size: 8 x 4 inch loaf pan
Temp: 350°F degrees
Bread baking time: 1 hour and 10 minutes
Servings: Makes 1 Apple Nut Cheese Bread Loaf


2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
dash of salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup canola or olive oil
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 large apples peeled and chopped
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Apple Nut Cheese Bread Baking Directions

Preheat your oven. Spray the bread loaf pan with cooking spray. In a large bowl mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon..

In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, milk and oil, stir into the flour and mix just until moist. Stir in cheese, apple and nuts until mixed. Pour Apple Nut Cheese Bread batter into bread loaf pan.

Bake Apple Nut Cheese Bread for allotted baking time or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the apple bread comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes and remove from pan onto a baking rack. Serve warm with honey butter or cold..
