Peach Dumplings 2Baking Directions
Peach Dumpling 22 tablespoon butter Combine all the above in heavy skillet or saucepan with a lid . Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Meanwhile make your dumpling batter. 1 cup self rising flour 1. Sift flour and sugar, cut in butter. Add vanilla to milk and add to flour mixture to make a soft dough; stirring only until flour is well moistened. Bring peaches to a low boil. Drop the batter by spoonfuls into boiling sauce. Reduce heat to simmer. 2. Cook, peach dumplings uncovered 5 minutes. Cover and steam peach dumplings gently for 15 minutes longer. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
