Apple Strawberry Salsa Salad Recipe

Baking Directions

For a great combination of baking apple; use Granny Smith, Braeburn, Jonagold, Empire, Regent, Spartan, Newtown apples or a mixture of your favorite apples together.

Bowl size: Large bowl
Temp: Chill for 15 minutes
Recipe prep time: 30 minutes
Servings: 6

Experience the fresh from the field flavors of this salad which provides an excellent source of vitamins A & C.


1 large McIntosh apple, chopped
1 large Granny Smith apple, chopped
1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
2 tablespoons sliced green onion
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
1 cup Light Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing
8 cups torn spinach or 8 cups torn Romaine lettuce
melba toast

In a large bowl toss chopped apples, sliced strawberries, onion, cilantro and light raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Let Apple Strawberry Salsa chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

Add spinach, toss lightly. Serve with a melba toast.

Kitchen Helpful Hint;
For a great substitute. Prepare as directed, omitting spinach. Serve Apple Strawberry Salsa over grilled chicken or cooked pork chops.
