Apple Pear Salsa Recipe

Directions

For a great combination of baking apple; use Granny Smith, Braeburn, Jonagold, Empire, Regent, Spartan, Newtown apples or a mixture of your favorite apples together.

Bowl size: large glass bowl
Temp: keep chilled
Servings: 5

Apple Pear Salsa Directions


2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/4 cup pineapple juice
3 - firm, fresh pears, unpeeled, diced
3 red delicious apples, unpeeled and diced
2 tablespoons fresh mint, diced
3 serrano chilies, seeded, minced

Mix the pineapple juice and lime juice in a large glass bowl. Add the diced pears and apple, toss to combine juices with fruit and to prevent the fruit from turning brown. Add the mint and chilies.

Chill Apple Pear Salsa in refrigerator until ready to serve.

To keep the Apple Pear Salsa chilled at a party, place ice cubes in a shallow dish and place the serving bowl in the dish of ice.
